Ellie Williams bent downward and extended her arms. She quickly shifted all of her weight onto her hands as she kicked her legs up. Her body wobbled a little as she balanced her weight on her hands in a handstand. Taking a few deep breaths, Ellie forced herself to remain relaxed as she felt the blood rush to her head.

Once she adjusted, Ellie bent her arms at the elbows, lowering her body closer to the floor before straightening her elbows. Ellie didn't remember the name of this style of pushup, but it helped strengthen the muscles in her arms.

She did a few more pushups before she kicked herself back onto her feet. Stretching, Ellie felt her back and shoulders pop.

Ellie glanced around the room, ignore the three walls of mirrors and the numerous ballet bars. Ballet wasn't Ellie's dance. She could dance ballet, along with other styles, like hip hop and jazz. She preferred ballroom dancing, like tango, waltz, and foxtrot.

She avoided looking at herself in the mirror as she bent over to collect her belongings. She pulled on her hoodie and zipped it halfway up before shouldering her bag. Spinning on her heels, she quickly left the room.

She knew it was weird to avoid her reflection. Ellie didn't like looking at herself in a mirror or any reflective surface. She knew she was attractive, but she didn't find herself to be pretty. When she looked in the mirror, all Ellie saw was a tall girl with long limbs, a frown that screamed awkward, and a head of messy waves. She really didn't like what she saw. No matter what anyone said, nothing changed that.

When she entered the locker room, Ellie sat her bag down and pulled out a few things. She threw her bag in a locker before removing her clothes and throwing those in. She wrapped herself in a towel before walking over to the showers, claiming one on the end.

The shower was short. Ellie didn't have a lot of time. There was the meeting at the diner. She left the showers, wrapped in her towel. At the locker, she pulled her bag out and fished out her new outfit. There was no way Ellie would wear her sweaty workout clothes to lunch.

While Ellie didn't consider herself vain, she could admit to being somewhat shallow, mostly about her image. Her image in both the sense of her appearance and how she acted. She was raised to be a polite, responsible young woman determined to succeed.

After drying off, Ellie pulled on her dress and a pair of flats. She ran a hairbrush through her hair before pulling it back in a messy bun. Before leaving, she threw everything in her bag and pulled her hoodie back on. She placed her cell phone in her hoodie pocket as she shouldered her bag and left the locker room.

Ellie wondered the halls of The Laurelhurst Community Center for a little before she came to the front desk. Robyn and Cat were busy working. Robyn had a pen in her mouth as she typed away on the computer, and Cat joggling the phone, paperwork, and her Starbucks drink.

A few people stood around in the lobby. Ellie recognized some as students with their parents, and others as volunteers. Where were Sasha and Cayenne? They were meeting the others in a few minutes, and they promised her a ride since The Starlight Diner was a few miles away.

Ellie pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and quickly sent her friends a text message.

Ellie: Where are you guys?!?

Without anything else to do, Ellie sat down in one of the uncomfortable plastic chairs and she pulled out MacBeth. She might as well get some English homework done.

Truth be told, Ellie wasn't big on Shakespeare. Sure, he had some awesome stories, but they were hard to understand because of his use of the English language. With a sigh, Ellie opened the book and started to read.

Ellie dropped her book and dove for her phone when she heard it ring. Her fingers were crossed for a text message. She smiled when she found it was a text from Sasha.

Sasha: Be there soon. Luna had the car.

Somewhat dejected, Ellie put her phone away. She
hated being late, but sometimes it couldn't be helped. Without much to do, she returned her attention to Lord MacBeth and his wife plotting the death of the king. There had to be a MacBeth movie. After reading the book, Ellie would have to search for a movie.

She tried to read, but she gave up after reading the same line three times. It was true, Shakespeare was headache. Ellie stuffed the book back in her bag before pulling her phone back out. Since she was running late, she felt the need to inform the others.

Ellie: Running late. C had car trouble.

Text message sent, Ellie quickly switched to Frogger. She wasn't one for video games, but Frogger was an easy one. Well, the first level was easy, and the overall point of the game was easy – don't die. Her game was cut short with the arrival of a text message.

Ashley S: Relax. Don't stress over this. This is a good time to think about getting your license. With a license and a car, you can get yourself around and be on time.

Ellie laughed at the message. Ashley had a good point. Despite the fact that she was sixteen, Ellie hadn't bothered trying to get her license. She saw no point in driving. She lived next to Kai, and they drove to school together. When the large group was meeting up, she caught a ride with Kai, and when it was the smaller groups, Ellie relayed on the bus or her friends for a ride.

The more she thought about it, the more Ellie liked the idea of getting her license. She had her permit, and she had driving experience. The next step was to enroll in driver's education and do a little more studying. If all went well, she could have her license in a few months.

Ellie laughed and leaned back in her chair. She caught sight of Cat, now relaxed and thumbing through a stack of papers. Cat had recently mentioned she was taking driver's education.

Standing up, Ellie quickly made her way to Cat.

Cat looked up when she noticed Ellie, her light brown eyes widened a little at the sight of the younger girl's smile. “How can I help you?” she asked.

“Where are you taking driver's ed?” Ellie asked, almost bouncing.

“Southeast PCC,” Cat replied. “The class is almost over.”

Ellie nodded. “When does the next one start?”

“In two weeks,” Cat answered, grabbing a pen. “I'll email you.” She scribbled something down on a post-it.

Ellie smiled. “Thanks.”

Cat laughed, returning to her work.

Ellie walked away, planning to return to her chair, when she got a new text message.

Sasha: Be there in a few.

Ellie pocketed her phone without sending a reply. She walked back over to her chair and grabbed her bag before leaving the building.

Outside, she waited under a tree with a hand on her cell phone. Ellie knew Cayenne and Sasha. There was a chance they would call her when they got closer simply to tell her they were closer.

A few moments later, Ellie saw Cayenne's silver Honda Civic pull up next to the curb. She sprinted towards it as her food started to ring. She ignored the call, assuming it was Cayenne or Sasha. Ellie opened the backdoor on the passenger's side and climbed in. She dropped her bag on the seat next to her.

Cayenne pulled away once the door was closed and Ellie's seatbelt was buckled. “Sorry, we're late,” she said. “Luna took the car to meet with Lucille.”

“Daisy's still in the shop,” Sasha said with a frown. She missed her car.

Ellie nodded. “It's fine,” she said. It was a slight lie, but she did mean. It drove her nuts she wasn't early, but she would get over it.

Sasha's head whipped around. She stared at Ellie with wide light brown eyes.

Cayenne made an alarm sound. “Are you feeling alright?”

Ellie's eyes widened then narrowed. “Am I really that bad?” she asked.

Neither Sasha nor Cayenne said anything right away.

“You're not bad,” Sasha replied, “but you're intense. Everyone knows you need to be early, you like success, and you're a borderline perfectionist.”

Ellie shrugged. That was true. If those words were coming from someone other than a friend, Ellie would have a problem with them. “Well,” she said, slowly, “I've been thinking, and somethings will be changing.”

Sasha raised an eyebrow, silently inquiring.

Ellie smiled, but didn't say anything. She wanted to get her license, but she had a few things to sort out before saying anything.

A moment later, Cayenne parked the car. “Out,” she declared. “Lunch's awaiting.” Cayenne loved food, and nothing stood in her way.

Ellie laughed a little as she climbed out, leaving her bag behind. She walked into the diner with friends, where they spotted the others seated in the back.

Next the purple energy spirals downward, creating her boots. Finally, the purple energy spins around her neck to create her choker before splitting into two spirals, which spark her ears to create her earrings. One goes onto the spiral in her hair, creating the flower barrette and the other dots her forehead, spreading into her tiara. Sailor Planet V strikes a cute pose.
Weapon: The Lightning Rod, a foot long metal pole

Attack(s):

Offensive:
“Electric Blaster!”
Sailor Planet V claps her hands together before bring them apart, a spinning circular-shape of purple electric energy appears between her hands. The size of the circular-shape depends on the distance between her hands and her concentration. To attack, Sailor Planet V raises her hands and tips it backwards a little before launching it at her target. When the circular-shape hits the target, it encircles the person in purple electric energy before exploding on them. This attack has a bit of a double-edge to it. If Sailor Planet V brings her hands too far apart, the circular-shape will explode on her, and if she loose concentration it can explode on her or decrease in size before disappearing.

Status:
“Volt Fusion!”
Sailor Planet V holds the Lightning Rod in her right hand, she spins it around a few times before holding it up the air. Storm clouds form over her before lightning strikes the Rod twice. This move is an energy boost, which she can keep for herself or sharing with another person. In event she keeps the boost for herself, it is used to boost one attack. This move can only be used two or three times before Sailor Planet V is “overloaded” with too much energy. (See “Current Transfer!” for sharing.)

Status:
“Current Transfer!”
Sailor Planet V holds the Lightning Rod in her right hand and she starts spinning it. After a few spins, the Rod starts to pick up speed before purple sparks appear. When the Rod is spinning fast enough, Sailor Planet V throws it at her ally. When the ally catches the Rod, they're incased in purple electric energy as they're recharged. When the energy transfer is complete, the Rod returns to Sailor Planet V.

Offensive:
“Crackling Whip!”
Sailor Planet V holds the Lightning Rod in her left hand in front of her, with her elbow bent and the Rod at shoulder level. The Rod glows purple before the whip, a purple electric energy, begins to grow from the upwards end. To use the whip, Sailor Planet V raises her arm and rears it backwards before extending it forward. When the whip hits the enemy, they're burned and shocked.

Defensive:
“Lightning Conductor!”
Sailor Planet V holds the Lightning Rod in her right hand, and she rears it back before throwing the Rod with all her strength at the ground. The Rod implants itself in the ground and it starts to glow a faint purple. When an enemy's attack is aimed at Sailor Planet V, the Rod emits a purple beam which draws the attack to it. The purple beam absorbs the attack.

Background:
Ellie was raised as an only child. Her mom is her dad's second wife. Her dad has other children, and the age difference between Ellie and her other siblings is over fifteen years. Ellie was something of a “miracle” child for her parents. She was born after a few miscarriages and a stillborn. Her parents are overprotective and they spoil her.

Both of her parents had busy careers, so they enrolled Ellie in several activities when she was younger – such as dancing, swimming, gymnastics, softball, and soccer. Through her numerous activities, Ellie made several friends, many of whom weren't as privileged as she was. Through her activities, Ellie found she had a passion for dancing, specifically ballroom dancing.

Ellie attended a private elementary school and a private middle school. She convicted her parents to let her attend a public high school with several of her friends from dance class, including her partner Chase.

One day, she was walking home through Government Park, she was attacked by Spirit of The Phantom. In her distress, Ellie summoned the Planet V Pen. When she touched, Ellie was able to transform into Sailor Planet V for the first time without saying another. During the battle with Spirit and her quad, Sailor Sun and Sophia, her guardian beagle, showed up and assisted. After the battle, Sailor Sun and Sophia managed to summon Tigger, Ellie's guardian orange tabby.
